Disabling the 'Let users attach reports...' checkbox does not impact the positive behavior on the UI.

I could manage to turn off ' Export reports' user permission on profile page to get rid off 'Attach file' button. However, the same user permission controls the ability to export report as well ('Export' button on UI). Interesting how these 2 functionalities - export and subscribe - are interlinked.
[ユーザーにレポートの添付を許可する...] チェックボックスを無効にしても、UI の適切な動作には影響しません。

プロファイルページで「レポートのエクスポート」ユーザー権限をオフにして、「ファイルを添付」ボタンを削除することができました。ただし、同じユーザー権限によって、レポートをエクスポートする機能も制御されます (UI の [エクスポート] ボタン)。これら 2 つの機能 (エクスポートとサブスクライブ) がどのように相互リンクされているかは興味深いです。

制限の緩和

• We're becoming increasingly frustrated with the limit of 5 reports a user can be subscribed to.

The restrictions seem to have been relaxed slightly if the following applies:

Currently, each user in an Unlimited Edition org can subscribe to up to 15 reports and 15 dashboards. Users in other orgs can subscribe to up to 7 reports and 7 dashboards.

The maximum limit of 15 is hardcoded and cannot be increased further. For additional information, refer to Reports and Dashboards Limits, Limitations, and Allocations.

Notes:

• For Salesforce Classic: The limit of subscribed reports is 5.
• For Lightning Experience: The limit of subscribed reports for Unlimited Edition is 15. The limit of subscribed reports for other Editions is 7.
• Portal Users cannot subscribe to a report.
