Execute Anonymous Apex

The step to "Click Code Lens Execute Anonymous Apex highlighted in pink in the below screenshot." is where we're getting lost. The Code Lens action is not appearing for some people, including me. I'm on an Apple iMac running VS Code.

  • In the dreamhouseappTest.apex file, select the code (Select All in this case)
  • Then on Mac, hit CMD + SHIFT + P to open the Command menu
  • Or on a PC, CTRL + SHIFT +P to open the Command menu
  • Type "SFDX: Execute" and choose "Execute Anonymous APex with Currently Selected Text"
  • The command runs in your output terminal console.
  • Scroll back up and you should see House data.
