I figured it out! At the beginning of Level Up with Advanced Formulas, under the Write It Out section, they have you create a Loss Reason picklist. I deleted the validation rule as well as the picklist I created called Loss Reason.

Sorry, In a previous Exercise I have made a field ('Discount Percent Status') of Opportunity Object compulsory so whenever your system is testing my exercise I think it wasn't providing that value. I make that field optional.

it worked for me , I unchecked the Discount Percent field's required general option in the Opportunity Object.
