After combing through search results and articles, I found one indicating that it may be Outlook as this person has the same issue. So, I used my personal email (gmail) vs. my Slalom, Inc. email address (outlook) and it worked.
It seems like Outlook or the security we have in place is expiring the URLs right away.

I ended up figuring it out! It was as simple as getting myself back to the sales home page. Somehow while installing an app for practice, a reset my password page was loaded every time I launched Playground.

There is a bit more to this: be aware that the 'infinite loops' problem can also occur due to 'Safe Links' features of email protection services (i.e. Safe Links in Microsoft Defender for Office 365), which basically seem to use your email links to test them... and by default, the design pattern applied is to allow the 'Reset Pwd' link to be used once..
