First off thanks to everyone for your help and suggestions on how to solve this.

The solution was simpler, had to allow all third-party cookies in the browser permissions.

Once that was done I was able to continue with the trailhead.

I'm sorry that I can't remember exactly what I did. But two things I definitely did that seemed to help:

Safari - Preferences - Privacy - uncheck prevent cross-site tracking
Safari - Preferences - Privacy - uncheck block all cookies.
Hopefully that will work for you too! It was extremely frustrating to have such an issue on such a simple step....

Braveブラウザ　は対応していない

I don't think Brave Browser supports it.
