Ubuntu 24.04 LTSにCanon iP 7230のプリンタを設定する

ダウンロード

下記よりdebパッケージをダウンロードします。

下記コマンドで解凍します。

tar xzf cnijfilter-ip7200series-3.80-1-deb.tar.gz

packages フォルダが作成されるので、移動します。

cd packages

cnijfilter-common のインストール

sudo dpkg -i cnijfilter-common_3.80-1_amd64.deb

あとはUSBケーブルでプリンタと繋いで Settings -> Printers -> Add Printer を実行すれば、Canon iP7230 が追加されるはずです。（プリンターのネットワーク設定をしている場合は、自動で表示されるかもしれません。）

(HPのプリンタが追加されている場合は削除してください。)
