にてパスワード入力を検討したが、標準機能としてあったようだ。

"Use the PasswordChar property to create an edit control that displays a special character in place of any entered text."

プロパティのPasswordCharに*を設定すれば入力中の文字が表示されなくなった。
また、Ctrl+Cにて入力文字をコピーしようとすると「不許可パスワード入力フィールドからは文字はコピーできません」となるのでコピーされることはない。
