【初めてのEdison】ファームウェア更新に失敗。Edisonが認識されなくなった時の対処法

すんなりいくはずのファームウェア更新でなぜが失敗。その後PCにUSBで接続しても認識されずゴミ箱行きか。。。と絶望している中、バージョン2.1で追加された「Flash Tool Lite」でなんとか蘇生しました。

Flash Tool Lite

Flash Tool Lite
GUIでEdisonのファームウェアを書き換えられるというものです。

ファームウェア書き換えまでの流れ

  1. Flash Tool Liteのインストール
  2. ファームウェアのダウンロード
  3. Flash Tool Liteでダウンロードしたファームウェアを読み込み
  4. 「Start to flash」ボタンをクリック
  5. EdisonへUSB接続
  6. 完了！
