How to Run Docker MSSQL 2017 Image in Ubuntu 18.04 LTS?

More than 1 year has passed since last update.


1. Run docker command.

$ sudo docker run -e 'ACCEPT_EULA=Y' /

-e 'MSSQL_SA_PASSWORD=XXXX' /
-p 1433:1433 /
--name mssql /
-d microsoft/mssql-server-linux:2017-latest

MSSQL_SA_PASSWORD=XXXX, XXXX is your database password.

Unable to find image 'microsoft/mssql-server-linux:2017-latest' locally
