OSXのParallelsでWindowsをアップグレードする際のautorun.dllエラー回避方法

解決策

Parallelsのメニュー＞デバイス＞CD/DVD1直下で、該当のディスクドライブを選択するとautorunが起動するので、そこからsetup.exeを選択

ディスク直下のsetup.exeから行けそうに見えるのが罠。

状況

  • ディスクドライブが付いていないmacbookに対し、リモートディスクでDVDをつないでいる
  • Win7はParallelsでクリーンインストール、Win8はその上にアップグレードでインストールする
  • autorun経由ではなくdiskのsetup.exeから起動させようとするとこんなエラーメッセージが出てしまいインストールが進まない
The file 'autorun dll' could not be loaded or is corrupt,Setup cannot continue
