利用するPerlがどのタイプのスレッドモデルに対応しているか確認するには #MacOSX

実現したいこと

自分の利用するPerlコマンドが5.005モデルのthreadsクラスか、またはithreadモデルのどちらが利用できるかを確認したい。

実現方法および解決方法

自分が利用しているperlコマンドのコマンドラインオプションで-Vを指定し、grepコマンドで use5005threads= useithreads= 文字列を検索し、どちらが出力されるか確認する。

実行コマンド

perl -V | grep -e use5005threads= -e useithreads=

実行結果 / MacOSX El Capitan 標準搭載のPerlの場合

$ perl -V | grep -e use5005threads= -e useithreads=
    useithreads=define, usemultiplicity=define

perl -V で Platform セクションを見れば、どちらのスレッド機能があるのか (あるいは無いのか)を知ることができます。もし useithreads=define となっていればiスレッドをサポートしているし、use5005threads=define とあれば 5.005 スレッドです。両方とも出ない場合、あなたの Perl はスレッドをサポートしていません。両方ある場合は問題があります。
