CentOSの文字コードを設定する方法

/etc/sysconfig/i18nを編集する

  • 以下の例ではUTF-8に設定。

    sed -i -e "s/LANG=.*/LANG=ja_JP\.UTF-8/g" /etc/sysconfig/i18n && source /etc/sysconfig/i18n

    LANG="ja_JP.UTF-8"
SYSFONT="latarcyrheb-sun16"

  • 正しく設定しておかないと、こんなことでハマったりする。
