set -o noclobber
で、既存ファイルに対して > が使えなくなるそうです

typoで環境吹っ飛んじゃう

環境構築中にQiitaとか参考にしてるとこういう一文がサラッと出てきますよね
echo export PATH='/path/to/bin:$PATH' >> ~/.bashrc

> の数がtypoで一つ少ないと、ファイルが上書きされて詰んでしまうのでなるべくエディタを使いましょう
