homebrewでMySQL環境を構築する

$ brew install mysql

MySQLは複数の版を同時に検証するので、版ごとにdatadirをわけて作成しておく。

$ mkdir -p /usr/local/var/mysql-5.6.10
$ mysql_install_db --verbose --user=`whoami` --basedir="$(brew --prefix mysql)" --datadir=/usr/local/var/mysql-5.6.10 --tmpdir=/tmp
$ cd /usr/local/opt/mysql
$ edit my.cnf # datadirを設定する
$ mysqld_safe &
$ mysqladmin -u root password ****
