aws: both ssh and mysql connection hang

エラー内容

ssh -i ~/.ssh/鍵名.pem ec2-user@IPとmysql -h エンドポイント -P 3306 -u root -pの二つのコマンドを打っても何も返答がない状態。少し待っているとERROR 2003 (HY000): Can't connect to MySQL server on [endpoint] (60)というメッセージが。

解決策

EC2 -> security groupsにあるinboundに最新のmy IP addressに更新してあげるだけ。
