最初の安定版のリリース（2015年5月15日）から１年を迎え、Rust プロジェクトから、Rust の利用者向けのアンケートが実施されています。
アンケート結果は、Rust のコア開発者たちが、今後１年で注力するべきエリアを決めるための、重要な指針となるでしょう。英語によるアンケートではありますが、大半が選択式なので、回答するのは難しくないと思います。この記事に、主要な質問についての日本語訳を載せますので、いま Rust を使っている人も、興味があるけどまだ使ってない人も、あるいは、使うのをやめてしまった人も、少しでも多くの人に回答していただければ と思います。
締め切りは、アメリカ太平洋時間の 2016年6月8日です。アンケートの集計結果は、Rust プロジェクトのオフィシャルブログ http://blog.rust-lang.org で発表される予定です。
余談：StackOverflow の2016年開発者アンケートで、好きな言語第１に
Rust は若い言語です。世界的に見てもユーザー数はまだ少なく、日本での知名度はかなり低いと思われます。
その一方で、毎年行われる StackOverflow 開発者アンケートの「好きな言語」部門で、2015年は３位、2016年は１位に選ばれるという、一部の、特に海外の開発者たちから、とても愛されている言語です。

感想：
