Intel VT-dがうまく使えないときの対策

使った環境

  • Core i7 4790K
  • ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Performance
  • Debian 7

dmesgを見ると、VT-d関連で警告が…

x2apicがどうたらと書かれてるものであればBIOSがちょっとアレなだけで、以下のカーネルオプションで直ります。

intremap=no_x2apic_optout (outputではないので注意)

あと

依然としてVT-dを有効にするためにはこのカーネルオプションは必須です。

intel_iommu=on
