openSUSEでのTeXLiveフォントインストール方法

openSUSE≠Ubuntu

openSUSEにフォントをインストールするにあたり、最初はUbuntuJapaneseTeamの記事を参考に

$ sudo fc-cache -fv

を行ったのですが、何故かフォントが認識されません。それどころかインストールされたフォントが全て消えてしまいました!

openSUSEでのインストール方法

インストールしたいフォントがあるディレクトリを/etc/fonts/fonts.confで指定します

/etc/fonts/fonts.conf

(中略)
<!-- Font directory list -->

        <dir>/usr/share/fonts</dir>

        <dir>/usr/local/texlive/2016/texmf-dist/fonts/</dir>

        <dir>/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts</dir> <dir>/opt/kde3/share/fonts</dir> <dir>/usr/local/share/fonts</dir>
        <dir prefix="xdg">fonts</dir>
        <!-- the following element will be removed in the future -->
        <dir>~/.fonts</dir>

その後このコマンドを実行するとフォントが認識されます。

$ sudo /usr/sbin/fonts-config
