BigQueryはスキャンしたデータ量に応じて課金されるので、クエリがどの程度のデータをスキャンするのか実行前に事前に確認できると安心です。
確認方法は簡単で、右端の緑のチェックを押して、Validatorを起動してクエリの構文チェックできますが、このときスキャン量の見積もりも出てるので、クエリの実行前に毎回Validatorでチェックする癖を付けると精神衛生上良さそうです。
