もしGPU計算環境をAWSで用意した場合、いくら位かかりそうで、AWSという選択肢は正しいのかどうかについて

kenjiszkに相談した。結論1GPUのマシンなら2weekつけっぱで2万円程度。
GPU1個が70万(amazon.com)とかするので、多く見積もって5万円/月としても14ヶ月以上(約1年)実験すると損。
(ガチでGPU環境用意するフェーズではまた新しいGPUでてるだろうし、なんならどこかから協賛とか連携とかで貰えそうだし、AWSの選択肢でよいのでは。)

g2.2xlargeっていうインスタントタイプを使いたいと思っているんですが、
https://aws.amazon.com/jp/ec2/pricing/
を見ると、0.65$/hourと書かれています。
AWSの資料を読んでると、起動時間の他に、ストレージと通信容量がプラスされる、とかいてあるので、もし通信をあまりしない実験であれば、月額の料金は
0.65$ * T hour + 10円 * 60GB(g2.2xlargeのストレージサイズ)  + α
