Overview
ubuntu.pool.ntp.org が 使えなくなっているみたいです。
良い機会なので、日本のNTPの大御所 NICTのntp serverに変更してみます。
Mar 10 22:17:54 xxx ntpd[1491]: error resolving pool 2.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org: Temporary failure in name resolution (-3)
こんなエラーが出続けている方が対象です。
ntp.conf で 設定 を 変更する
/etc/ntp.conf
#pool 0.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org iburst
#pool 1.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org iburst
#pool 2.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org iburst
#pool 3.ubuntu.pool.ntp.org iburst
# Use Ubuntu's ntp server as a fallback.
#pool ntp.ubuntu.com
server ntp.nict.jp iburst
のようにして、serverをpoolから直サーバーにする。
ntp を再起動しましょう。
# systemctl restart ntp
ちゃんと設定が反映されているか確認してみましょう。
# ntpq -p
remote refid st t when poll reach delay offset jitter
==============================================================================
*ntp-b3.nict.go. .NICT. 1 u 45 64 1 3.900 -0.611 0.489
みたいにして出ていればOkです。
