例えば、UTF-8な環境でShift-JISで書かれた文書をvimで読むと当然文字化けする。
元のファイルの文字コードは直したくないが、文字コードを指定してファイルを開き直すには
:e ++enc=文字コード名
とすればよい。文字コードは「euc-jp」「shift_jis」「utf-8」があれば十分だろう。
