NHK WorldをLinux端末から視聴

2016年11月19日現在、NHK Worldをライブ視聴しようとすると「Live streaming not available on this browser.」と表示されて再生できない。

VLC Media Playerで直接ストリームのURLを叩けば解決した。

手順

を開き、一番上にあるURLをコピーする。

次にVLCを開き、Open media > Network に、上でコピーしたURLを入れれば視聴可能。

NHKは公共の放送局なのだから、広範な端末に対応してほしい。
