CentOS 6.8 > yum install netcdf > Error: Nothing to doの対応 > EPELリポジトリ追加

動作環境

CentOS 6.8 (64bit)

yum install netcdfを実行した時に以下のようなエラーが出た。

# yum install netcdf
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Setting up Install Process
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * base: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
 * extras: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
 * updates: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
No package netcdf available.
Error: Nothing to do

EPELリポジトリを追加する。
(追記: 2016/07/18)
epelをCentOS version 5用で記載してしまっていたため以下のように訂正した

# wget http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm  
# rpm -ivh epel-release-6-8.noarch.rpm  

これでyum list netcdfをすると以下のようにリストが出るようになった。

# yum list netcdf
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
 * base: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
 * epel: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
 * extras: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
 * updates: ftp.jaist.ac.jp
epel                                                     | 3.6 kB     00:00     
epel/primary_db                                          | 2.9 MB     00:07     
Available Packages
netcdf.i386                            3.6.3-1.el5                          epel
netcdf.x86_64                          3.6.3-1.el5                          epel

yum install netcdfでインストールできるようになった。
