The first real game I remember playing was "breakout". The computer I had was CP/M computer, that has resolution of 160 x 72. And I wrote "space invaders" for it. I would say maybe dozens of people ever played XXX boy XXX.

And when the IBM PC came out, I said to my wife "You know, I bet I can write the game for that (XXX: would self?).". So she's XXX, "O.K." and we spent our life savings to buy the IBM PC, which was at that time 6,000 dollars.
